ROAD TRIPโN

Weโre Celebrating ๐๐๐โจโจ
Great news. ROAD TRIP’N continues to grow with another milestone reached with over 7,000 hits on the site. To celebrate, I headed out find something a little bit different, something “out of the box” an unusual place, that us locals or if you are a visitor to Brisbane might never have visited or even knew existed.
I discovered these two remarkable places. You’ll soon be able to read all about them in my upcoming Blogs.
All the pageantry and silver service of a High Tea at Queensland’s Parliament House plus a guided tour.
We also take a look at a very special park with its own beach, children’s playground and offshore Treasure Island that you can walk to and explore.
ROAD TRIP’N has a new Web site. It’s been updated with an all new design, so much easier to navigate around. Same great travel Blogs, with an easy to follow menu. Find that special place for a road trip or just a day out visiting local museums and gardens.
With so may things cancelled, there is no need to be at home in the darkness with all your doors locked and curtains drawn waiting for all this to be over. Instead here are some great ideas to keep you busy in and around Brisbane and South East Queensland.
There is an arrangement of suggestions on the Web Site. Click on Categories, take a look and choose one of many interesting places to have a day out. All the information is there. To help you with your selection, I have included some of my favourite day trips and locations, click on the links and plan away.

There are few basic guidelines to follow if you are heading out. ๐
โ Avoid crowds as this will increase your chance of catching the virus.
โ Observe social distancing recommendations.
โ Be careful in public places and touching surfaces then your mouth and nose.
โ Avoid contact with people including handshakes, hugs and kissing.
โ Wash your hands a lot, soap and water are best.
โ If you have been told to isolate yourself Please stay at home.
